Found this amazing deal – this is the cheapest I’ve ever seen these little gems.  I’m a Green Mountain coffee snob – and one of those k-cups, at BEST is $.40/k-cup.  This little device makes my addiction much more affordable… gives me more money to shop 😉

Enjoy!!!!

Yet another hidden treasure….

leave a comment »

https://savingstar.com/

You don’t make a ton of money back from this.. but it’s still another avenue to save with.  I check their site every couple weeks to see if they’ve put any new coupons up, and then I print out my list of activated coupons and keep it handy when making my shopping lists to see if I have a coupon to match – stacking the 2 can make a fabulous deal.

It does take awhile for the money to show up – for example I purchased a few things on 8/1, and it probably won’t show up until August is over.  I do keep track of them to make sure they show up – I did have one that didn’t once, and all it took was an email to them saying when I bought it and from where for them to credit me.

Recyclebank.com – this site is so awesome… earn points, get unique coupons 🙂  I refer to recyclebank in some of my posts – please use the link above and give me credit for referring you 🙂

Let me introduce you to another secret of mine….

leave a comment »

So… I know this blog is my coupon world.. but.. there’s also another secret treasure I will let you in on – it’s called sumballo.com.  There are other sites out there like ebates and mrrebates that you sign up for, and then when you shop you click through their site and they give you a % of your purchase back.  Sumballo.com is a little like that but what makes them better is that YOU post a deal and when someone buys your deal, you make money.

I found these adorable sneakers at DSW, but knew I’d find a better deal online, so when I got home, of course I found them for $10 cheaper.  I posted the deal on Sumballo.com and then clicked through my own link so I could get the money for my own purchase (like ebates or mrrebates would).  On my $48 sneakers I got back $2.62.  That might not seem like much but.. it’s FREE money, AND if 10 other people click through my deal, I’ll make a quick $26.20!  If 100 people clicked through my deal, I’d make $262!!

I love this site… it’s so unique!  Have fun!

Stop and Shop gas points…

leave a comment »

These are my favorite to collect!!!  I didn’t post the deals as I didn’t have a chance, but I will try for this coming week.  I have to tell you what I got though because… someone has to know! 🙂

They had Kraft Mac and Cheese, on sale for $1 each, and if you buy 10 you get 100 gas points.  We eat that almost every day in my house – so I got 20 boxes to get 200 gas points.  For those of you that aren’t familiar with Stop and Shop’s gas points I’ll explain in my list I make for the sales starting today.

Then they had lunchables..on sale for $1, and 100 gas points when you buy 10.  The sale alone is amazing, let alone getting gas points.  I wish I could have bought 50 of them, but if I did, that’s all my child would want to eat for the next 50 lunches.  So.. I settled with 10, for 100 gas points.

Total gas points = 300 BONUS points, on top of my $30 purchase = 330 gas points which equates to $.30 off per gallon of gas up to 35 gallons at Shell.

Woohooo!

My fabulous 8/14 Rite Aid deals

leave a comment »

Although I post deals I find, it doesn’t mean that’s what I actually buy.  But.. I do get excited to talk about the deals I did take  advantage of, and below are a few of my favorites:

Colgate Wisps – 5 for $10.  I posted a coupon for $.50 on each one – if you can get access to 3 computers you can print off 5 of these (only 2 prints per computer).  I happened to have a $1 off coupon for each one that expired 8/13 but we have a local 24 hour Rite Aid so I went in at 11:45 and the new sales for 8/14 had started so I was able to get $1 off each one.  AND you get back $5 in UP rewards, so I brought these babies home for $1 each.  And of course I had UP rewards from previous purchases to use towards it so my total was $0 🙂  The cashier was confused and had to call management of course.. she wasn’t sure how to give me a receipt for a $0 sale.  Newbie….

Playtex drop-ins bottle liners.  They’re $8.99 for 100 of the expandable 10 ouncers.  (CVS regular price is $9.99).  I’m a Wellness Plus gold member so I get 20% off non-sale items, and these weren’t on sale.  However, if you spend $15, you get back $3 UP rewards.  So, for each box I paid $7.19.  Then I had $2 off each box coupons = $5.19/box.  BUT with being a gold member the price they use to calculate the UP rewards is after my discount, so I had to buy 3 boxes to get the deal (if I got 2, I would have only spent $14.38).  Then I got back $3 in UP rewards, so for 3 boxes of normally priced $8.99 bottle liners, I paid $4.19.  NOT BAD!!!  Babies R Us occassionally has them on sale BOGO 50% off but that’s the best price I’ve ever seen.

Then I got Gain dish soap – on sale for $.88 bottle, and I had coupons to save $1 on 2 bottles, so I got a bunch of them for $.38 each!

Veet:  Regular price $6.49, I got 20% off that = $5.19.  There was an in-ad coupon to save $2, and a $3 off coupon, and you get $1 UP reward back, AND $1 off with video values  = PROFIT of $1.81!!!

Carefree liners = 2 free!  See my Rite Aid post.

Listerine Smart Rinse:  $3.99.  There’s a $1 UP reward, and $1 off coupon, AND $1 video values coupon, and I used the wild card video values coupon for $1 off your order = PROFIT of $.01!

Ricola and Ludens cough drops = see Rite Aid post.

My awesome 8/14 CVS deals

leave a comment »

I just love CVS….

Huggies diapers are on sale, the jumbo packs, for $8.99 (even the jean diapers which I adore).  There’s a CVS coupon I posted in my CVS list for $2 off.  There’s also a manufacturer’s coupon I posted for $3 off, which you can stack with the $2 one.  So this makes the diapers $3.99.  AND.. this is the best part….. you also get a $10 gas card when you spend $30 (and this is BEFORE coupons).  So… I got 4 packages of diapers for $15.96 (and no tax – it was the tax free holiday!) and got a $10 gas card back, so essentially I paid $1.49 per package of diapers!  YAY!!!  I love good deals!
