What I brought home from Rite Aid this week!

leave a comment »

I didn’t really bring a whole lot home this week from Rite Aid this week – well… compared to normal at least 🙂

These were my finds:

Schick Intuition, Quattro for Men or Women Razor or Cartridge Refills $8.99 =  $2 +UP (Limit 2).  I had a $2 off and a $4 off coupon for the women’s razor, so my total price was $2.99 and $4.99.  The $4.99 wasn’t the best deal I’ve seen but I had UP rewards that were about to expire so I needed to use them up.

Herbal Essence or Aussie Shampoo/Conditioner $2.99 = $1 +UP (Limit 2).  I had a $1 off coupon and got back $1 UP rewards making my total $.99.  That’s my “buy” price for shampoo and conditioner.  Because I have such a stockpile of it, if it’s more than $1 I don’t buy it.  This Christmas I’ll be donating a bunch of it actually!

Almay Get up and Grow Mascara – There’s an in store coupon for $1 off located in their  flyer.  If you watch the video value rewards, there’s a $1 coupon, and there’s a $1 manufacturer’s coupon from a Sunday paper, so the price was $7.99, and my coupons brought it down to $4.99.  Rite Aid also has the same policy as CVS where if you don’t like it, even if you’ve used it, you can return it… so I always buy my make-up from these stores.  HOWEVER…I won’t be returning this as it’s AWESOME!  I’ve never found a mascara that made my lashes this long AND not clumpy.  GOOD JOB ALMAY! 🙂

Crest toothpaste:  My Rite Aid has a fabulous clearance section, which is why I always bring my coupon binder with me to the store – you never know what you’ll find.  And… I found Crest Sensitive toothpaste on sale for $.89, and I had a $1.00 off coupon so it was a $.11 moneymaker!  It expires in December (yes, toothpaste expires?!?!) so I’m just going to donate it.

What I brought home this week from CVS

leave a comment »

I completed my shopping for the week early so I thought I’d share my deals with everyone!   You can find the coupon match-ups on my CVS page….

Listerine Zero – it was on sale for $4.99, with a $2 ECB (limit 2 per household).  I also had a coupon for $2 off, making it totally FREE!  Add 2 more bottles of mouthwash to my stockpile please, thank you! 🙂  Woohoo!

Bausch & Lomb  Soothe Eye Drops:  $8.99, Get $4 ECB (Limit 1).  I had a $4 off coupon, making this $4.99, and got my ECB for $4 = grand total $.99!  I love these kinds of items for stocking stuffers – the things no one wants to buy for themselves but when they have it they love it!

Scope Fresh Scent toothbrush $2.99, Get $1 ECB (Limit 1).  I had a $1 off coupon = $.99!  Has anyone tried this yet?  A “scented toothbrush” seems odd to me but I’ll try anything for the right price!

$10 AMEX gift card:  Qualifying purchases were:

Olay Regenerist  Facial Care $20.99.  I had a coupon for free CoverGirl lipstick when you buy Regenerist, AND I had a coupon for $3 off any Regenerist product.  TOTAL price $12.99 for the face cream, and a FREE lipstick.  And this purchase got added to my Olay rebate of $10 when you spend $30 (you can find this on Olay’s site).

Oral B toothbrushes – they’re on sale B1G1.  I had $1 off coupons on each of those, making the price go from $3.99 each down to $2 each.  The price towards the gift card is pre-coupons though.  I bought 6 to get the gift card.

Duracell batteries are on sale for $5.99, and there’s a $1 coupon out there in Sunday paper flyer land so I had these on back-up in case they were out of my favorite toothbrushes!

I was fortunate enough that my CVS had trial sizes of the Aveeno moisturizing cream, so I was able to buy them for $1.29 each, and get back $7 in ECB for buying 2!  Insane right?!  My ECB didn’t print so I had to show the cashier the deal and he just printed me one manually.  By far my most favorite deal of the day!

Schick Quattro for Men or Women or 4 ct Cartridges $8.99, Get $4 ECB (Limit 1).  I had a coupon for $4 off a refill.. there’s a bunch of coupons that were online printables kicking around as well as Sunday flyer inserts so what you have might vary.  I picked up some cartridges for $6.99 and got back $4.  I swear my shopping isn’t complete until I buy at least one razor of some sort!

Get $5 ECB wyb 2 Gillette Fusion Pro Glide Cartridges 4-8 ct or Power or Manual Razor.  I bought 2, at $10.99 each, and used my $5 off P&G coupon, so I paid $5.99 each and got back $5, so that’s like getting each at $3.50!

There were definitely more deals than what I got above.. but this is all I needed.  See my CVS page for all the deals I found in my email and web scouring.

Don’t forget to always scan your green tag too to get that free ECB!
